Homemade Pizza Rolls, Delicious Homemade Pizza Rolls

Ingredients:

For the Dough:
All-purpose flour
Instant yeast
Sugar
Salt
Warm water
Olive oil

For the Filling:
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Pepperoni slices (optional)
Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled (optional)
Green bell pepper, finely chopped (optional)
Red onion, finely chopped (optional)
Black olives, sliced (optional)
Italian seasoning
For Garnish:
Parmesan cheese, grated
Fresh basil, chopped

Directions:

Prepare the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat the Oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Filling:
Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Add pepperoni slices, cooked Italian sausage, chopped green bell pepper, chopped red onion, and sliced black olives as desired.
Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the toppings.

Roll and Cut the Dough:
Starting from one of the long sides, roll the dough tightly into a log.
Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place the pizza rolls on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the Pizza Rolls:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
