🍴 Succulent Beef Tips with Mushroom Gravy over Fluffy Mashed Potatoes 🍄🥔
Ingredients:
-1 lb beef tips
-Salt and pepper, to taste
-2 tbsp olive oil
-1 onion, chopped
-2 cups mushrooms, sliced
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-3 tbsp all-purpose flour
-2 cups beef broth
-1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
For the Mashed Potatoes:
-4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
-1/4 cup milk
-2 tbsp butter
-Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Beef:
Season beef tips with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add beef and sear until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
For the Gravy:
In the same skillet, add onions and mushrooms. Sauté until onions are translucent and mushrooms are browned. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir to coat. Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Add Worcestershire sauce. Return beef to the skillet, reduce heat to low, and simmer until the gravy thickens and beef is tender.
For the Mashed Potatoes:
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and return to pot.
Add milk and butter to the potatoes and mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Dish:
Spoon the mashed potatoes onto a plate, top with beef tips and generous amounts of mushroom gravy.
